Since its inception, the Brewers Hill Neighbors board has partnered with Graceland Park Elementary/Middle School to provide support through the year. The two biggest events are the School Supply Drive (to benefits the children and teachers) and the Adopt-A-Family Christmas program.

School supply drive
Every summer, Brewers Hill Neighbors sponsors a school supply drive to collect much needed school supplies for Graceland Park Elementary. We usually collect supplies through the week before school begins.
Neighbors can purchase items from an Amazon Wish List or a Target Gift List. In addition, donations of typical school supplies are needed such as backpacks, personal hand sanitizers, hand wipes, pencils, notebooks, rulers, ballpoint pens, colored pencils, staples, and calculators.
Our fabulous Brewers Hill business always are happy to help! Brewers Hill Neighbors provides each business with a drop-off box making it easier for neighbors and patrons to provide a donation.
Adopt a family
Each year, the generous neighbors of Brewers Hill provide Christmas cheer for families in need!
Working with administrators at Graceland Park, BHN adopts families for whom to provide Christmas gifts. Based on each child's Christmas list, the Brewers Hill neighborhood turns into Santa's workshop, and all the neighbor-elves get busy filling up the BHN sack with all the Christmas presents for the children. In addition, our generous neighbors donate money to fund gift cards for each family. We normally raise over $1,000 and are able to provide gift cards to the families and a smaller gift card amounts to each of the children so they can enjoy a shopping spree!
